Week 1 of the Summer Season saw some competitive games, and a great fan turn-out! The gym was packed for all three games. In the opener, Baja Baetty's used some timely three-point shooting to close an early double digit deficit and kept the game close until the final minutes. SD Hoops Seeks Volunteers during Pride Parade

We are looking for a few volunteers who would be willing to help spread the word about SD Hoops by selling bottled water along the parade route during San Diego Pride on July 13th from 11a-1pm. The money will go towards the league, but it will also afford us the opportunity to spread the word about SD Hoops, San Diego's only basketball league for LGBT players and their friends.

Last Open Gym Before Summer Season

Open Gym this Wednesday, June 5th, from 6-8pm. If you are registered and paid for Summer League, it's free. Otherwise, $5. Bring light- and dark-colored shirts to play in. 2600 Golf Course Drive.

Summer League will consist of six teams: Wsup Now, Pecs, Baja Betty's, The Loft, Urban MO's, and Flicks. Season begins Wednesday, June 12 and runs through August.
